Now that you’ve joined OfferForge and are ready to start earning, you need to place ads. To get you started we’ve compiled a handy step-by-step guide to help you along the way.
The first step is identifying advertisers and placing their ads on your site. Selecting the right ads for your website is critical, as you want to ensure the advertisers you partner with are relevant to your visitors and match your content. Luckily OfferForge has advertisers in virtually every industry, so you’re sure to find a good match.
Once you’ve identified the advertisers you’d like to add to your site, you’re ready to place ads.
Once logged in, you will be welcomed by the Affiliate Portal Dashboard. Select the OFFERS link on the left-hand side.
Once you are in the OFFERS page, you can hover over the eye icon next to the Offer you are interested in running. A pop up window will appear with a brief overview.
Please take note of the STATUS column
Public: you can start running it immediately.
Apply To Run: requires you to apply and be approved by the advertiser (which can take a few hours or days, depending on the advertiser)
Once you clicked on the Name of the Offer you applied for, a pop up window will appear where you can select the most appropriate Media Type (Please note that this window only appears the first time you run an offer)
Next, a screen will appear which we call the OFFER CARD. It contains the basic info you need to know about the offer, as well as tracking info.
Click on the CREATIVES tab and a list of banners and text links will be made available.
To preview a creative, hover over the eye icon next to the Name, a pop up will appear.
To retrieve the code for a specific creative, click on its link Get Code. A screen will appear where you can set optional variables before receiving the code.
After you have selected Done, a screen will appear which contains the code. Copy this code and paste it into your website to have it embedded.
